Directions to Fridaywood Farm

From A12 travelling North: – Come off at Junction 26, signposted A1124, Halstead, Stanway. At top of slip road turn right on the roundabout, which will take you over the A12. Continue following the A1124 Stanway signs, along Essex Yeomanry Way. For next section see 'From Essex Yeomanry Way' below.
From A12 travelling South: – Come off at Junction 26, signposted A1124, Halstead, Stanway. At top of slip road turn left into Essex Yeomanry Way.
From Essex Yeomanry Way: – continue along Essex Yeomanry Way, following the A1124 Stanway signs. Keep in left hand lane until AFTER you have passed the large Sainsburys store on your right (the right hand lane veers off to the right).
AFTER passing Sainsburys, move over to the right hand lane. At the next roundabout turn right, following the signs to Maldon (B1022). This will take you through Tollgate retail park, with Seapets and then Homebase to your left.
At the roundabout immediately after Homebase continue straight on. A little later, go left then right at small traffic islands onto Warren Lane. Continue following the Zoo signs (white elephant on brown background) towards Colchester Zoo, along Warren Lane, until reaching the junction with the B1022 Colchester-Maldon road. At this junction turn left onto the B1022 towards Colchester Zoo and Colchester.
Pass the Zoo on your right. One mile after the Zoo you will come to a roundabout. Take the exit to the right, following the signs to B1026 Mersea, Layer de la Haye.
At the next two roundabouts continue following the signs to B1026 Mersea, Layer de la Haye, which will bring you to the B1026 Colchester-Layer de la Haye road and a mini-roundabout.
Cross the B1026 by turning right at this roundabout, and left at the mini-roundabout immediately after, into Berechurch Hall Road.
Continue for half a mile to the Maypole pub, on your right, and turn right into Bounstead Road.
Continue for another half mile to Fridaywood Farm. The entrance will be on your right.
